“Talent Acquisition Academy” is the trade name under which Seedl Academy SRL, whose registered office is located at Avenue Roger Vandendriesche, 18 B – 20, 1150 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, VAT BE 0785.338.229, DV.O246829 // Code Nace: 85.999, operates its business and is known in the marketplace.

The “Talent Acquisition Academy” is a training centre which provides participants with expertise in Talent Acquisition, and particularly in sourcing, recruitment, selection, employer branding, etc. Its educational DNA is unique: it provides a training programme which emphasises practical aspects. Training is done in person and is managed by Talent Acquisition experts.

The Seedl Academy is a training centre specialised in human resources including Talent Acquisition, coaching/Learning & Development, HR Assessment, payrolling, etc.

The Seedl Academy owns all copyrights, content creation, books, branding, company names, logos, domain names (website) that it has created, written and/or produced.

  1. General provisions

The General Terms and Conditions are intended to define the rights and obligations of the parties regarding registration for training organised by the Seedl Academy.

By completing the training application file, the participant/client acknowledges that they have reviewed and that they accept, without reservations, the content and application of these General Terms and Conditions, of the disclaimer and of the privacy policy accessible on the Seedl Academy website.

  1. Definitions

CONTRACT: A set of documents available on the Talent Acquisition Academy website binding the participant/client and the Seedl Academy: these General Terms and Conditions, the disclaimer and the privacy policy.

TRAINING: Any type of short training programme

PARTICIPANT/CLIENT: Any natural person or legal entity which either completed and sent in the registration file or approved an order form for intra- or inter-company training and, as a result accepts the content and application of these General Terms and Conditions.

  1. Registration for training

The parties are contractually bound after acceptance by the Seedl Academy of the registration application file of the participant/client and payment for the entire training programme by the participant/client.

The participant/client cannot under any circumstances transfer all or part of the rights resulting from their registration to a third party without the prior written approval of the Seedl Academy.

The participant/client agrees to provide exact and complete data when they register and to communicate any later changes immediately.

  1. Prices and invoicing

Unless a written waiver is given by the Seedl Academy, all invoices issued are payable in euros within ten days of their sending. Payment must be done by the participant/client to the bank account on the invoice. Natural persons and legal entities which register for training from another country must pay the bank transfer fees.

In the event of non-payment of any amount due by the participant/client by the due date, the Seedl Academy reserves the right, without prior notice, to fully or partially suspend execution of any of their obligations resulting from the contract without prejudice to its right to seek compensation for any prejudice suffered.

  1. Right to cancel

The participant/client is entitled to notify the Seedl Academy, in writing, that they are cancelling their registration, without penalty or reason, within eight business days of the day after receipt of the notification from the Seedl Academy of its acceptance of the registration or of the order form, and only if training has not begun and been attended by the participant/client.

The participant/client can cancel their registration or their order without penalties after the above deadline in para 1, in writing and providing a reason, up to 15 calendar days before the start of training. After this deadline, cancellation will require payment of 100% of the price of training.

Regardless of the TRAINING PROGRAMME, replacing one participant/client with another is only exceptionally allowed with the formal approval of the Seedl Academy based on a documented written request.

  1. Cancellation, adjustments or changes of dates, center and trainers.

In the event of force majeure or insufficient registrations for training, the Seedl Academy will have the right to cancel training or change its dates.

In the event a trainer is not available due to illness or any other reason, the Seedl Academy will be entitled to change trainers without advance notice or to postpone the scheduled training to a later date.

In the event of the cancellation of training, the participant/client will be fully refunded all amounts already paid to the Seedl Academy.

In the event of a change in training dates, the participant/client will be entitled to request a refund and cancellation of their registration from the Seedl Academy prorated to the change in days. The request must be sent to the Seedl Academy in writing within five business days following the date on which the Seedl Academy notified the change in dates to the participant/client. Should the participant/client not respond within this time frame, their registration will be deemed confirmed for the new dates and payment will be due.

In case of change of location (center), Seedl Academy will inform the participants of the new address, 5 working days before the date of the training module.

  1. Liability

The Seedl Academy is not bound to a firm commitment.

The Seedl Academy cannot under any circumstances be held responsible in the event of error, omission or inaccuracy in the documents provided to the participants/clients during training, seminars, or conferences attended by the latter or in anything provided verbally during a course, seminar or conference organised for the training.

The Seedl Academy cannot be held liable for any bodily or property damage suffered by a participant/client, with the exception of that resulting from obvious or gross negligence on its part. The Seedl Academy will not have any obligations or liability for direct damage under any circumstances. The Seedl Academy cannot be held liable for any losses incurred by the participant/client or by their clients.

In any event, if the responsibility of the Seedl Academy has been established, its liability will be limited to the amount of the cost of training.

  1. Intellectual property rights

The Seedl Academy cannot be held liable on the basis of the law of 30 June 1994 on copyright and neighbouring rights or generally in the event of a breach of one or more intellectual property rights related to documents provided to the participants/clients during training, seminars and conferences.

All intellectual property rights, including copyright, related to the documents provided to the participants/clients during training, remain the property of the Seedl Academy or of whom it may concern. The participant/client cannot record, have recorded, reproduce, disseminate, sell, distribute, adapt, transfer, directly or indirectly, all or part of any intellectual property rights, including copyright and neighbouring rights protected by the Law of 30 June 1994, related to documents provided to them during training, without the prior written consent of the Seedl Academy and/or the person directly concerned.

  1. Personal data and photos

The personal data of the participants/clients provided by the latter to the Seedl Academy are intended for its internal use and for the management of its training. Participants/clients are entitled to access the data and, if necessary, the right to rectify them, as provided for in the Belgian law of 8 December 1992.

The participants/clients expressly authorise the Seedl Academy to use their name and contact information to promote any training sessions it organises.

The photos taken during training and any Seedl Academy events will be the property of the Seedl Academy. The Seedl Academy can use the photos of participants/clients taken during training or events to illustrate its publications, website or other media. The Seedl Academy guarantees that it will use the documents solely to illustrate the profession, situation or reason why the participants/clients were photographed.

  1. Catering

Catering is included in the price of the training.

  1. Confidentiality

Each of the Parties accepts and considers to be confidential any information or materials provided to participants/clients under this CONTRACT. They agree not to copy, adapt, modify or disclose them to any third parties. This includes any information about the other party or their business, their organisation, their work methods, their know-how, their clients or their programmes which are part of a relationship with related companies.

In the event of a dispute, the courts of the judicial district of Brussels will have sole jurisdiction.
